To start with-I enjoyed this easy going and effortless read....This has been one of the rare books which I have involuntarily and effortlessly read through...
The subtle sarcasm which runs through the entire book was initially entertaining, but later on it started hitting me.... It was like standing in front of the mirror and mocking at oneself... For, the entire book brings into light the facets of India each one of us are well aware of but we try not to acknowledge it... The things about our country we do not mention to others and do not consider ourselves, hoping that a miracle will cleanse it all....
The problem with the entire system, the two Indias we try to hide away from, the backbone of our Democracy-Corruption, the need of the moment for India-Entrepreneurs,the competition between us and the yellow men, the tendency of us remaining stuck in a Rooster Coop....Its all there in a well woven tale of a protagonist from a Dark India trying to make it to the Bright India of Light....
Read it, for its entertaining as well as thought provoking...
